This current listing is a workbook and study guide to accompany A Child's History of the World by Virgil M. Hillyer. During elementary school, Hillyer's book and this workbook can be used as a history spine over multiple years or as an overview of history over one year. This workbook is probably best suited for second and third graders, although advanced first graders could use it as well. It could also be used by fourth graders that could benefit from a history overview and writing practice. This workbook was created to help students focus on the key parts of each chapter to provide better comprehension and retention than might happen with reading alone. Many of the short answer questions are conducive to written and verbal narrations. It is not necessary to print the included answer key.
